About PawMath

PawMath is an independent, advertising-supported website. PawMath makes pet-insurance arithmetic easier to inspect. The calculators show how user-provided premiums, deductibles, reimbursement percentages, annual limits and sample vet bills fit together; the guides explain common policy terms without ranking carriers.

What we publish

We publish five browser-based calculators, a glossary and guides about pet insurance math. We do not sell policies, collect quote requests, recommend an insurer or tell readers to buy or skip coverage.

How we research

Our factual references are limited to the NAIC pet insurance topic page and Triple-I (Insurance Information Institute) pet articles listed on relevant pages. We describe general concepts cautiously because policy wording and state rules vary. We do not invent breed averages or claim frequencies. Every figure that comes from a third party is linked at the bottom of the page where it is used, and every page shows when it was last reviewed. If a carrier, retailer or organisation changes its published information, the official source wins over anything on this site.

How the tools work

The arithmetic runs in your browser using the values you enter. Results depend on those inputs and simplified formulas; they are not a coverage determination, underwriting decision or advice to purchase insurance.

How we make money

PawMath shows advertising (Google AdSense) and does not accept payment from insurers, brokers, banks or any company in exchange for coverage in our guides. We do not sell leads, and we do not sell or recommend any specific insurance policy or financial product.

Corrections

If you spot an error, tell us through the contact page. We correct factual mistakes quickly and update the “last updated” date when we do.
